The Sound Around Town

Dear readers, your humble Narrator must apologize for leaving you so long in the dark about the goings-on here on the Butterfly Ship!  Truth be told, we’ve been hard at work on a project you’ve all been wondering about… yes, it’s true - the album is soon to debut on an internet near you :)  We’ll start by releasing a single from the album in June or July, then make the full album available at the end of the summer.  Pre-ordering will be available for those who donate to our Kickstarter, which should be live in a couple of months.  Big days ahead!

The album has been a labor of love for everyone involved, from the musicians and poets and soundscape artists to the technicians and engineers and designers who have been working for months to put this together.  The album is a full-length adaptation of the stage show, and features all-original recordings and compositions from the Butterfly Ship cast as well as original album artwork and liner notes from our talented artists.  So don’t worry - there’s more Butterfly Ship for you in the very near future :)
